Okay, this is a brief art lesson. If you want to start painting characters, this character is a great one to start with. First, you can sketch the image onto a clean ( I mean really scrubbed with antibiotic soap...don't want you getting sick from microbes if we can help it!) dry rock. I always recomment using a white colored pencil. Just snag one from your kids...they never use the white one. After you sketch your image, mix a bit of black paint with water to make it easier to paint clean lines. Go over your white pencil with the black paint...it will look like this. Make sure you let the black dry before you add any more paint. Now you can use your colored paints, one color at a time with drying in between, and paint your image the same as you would color in a coloring book. When you finish, it will look like this! Have fun! Lin http://www.lanrocks.biz |
