I love Bleeding Gums Murphy. Well, I love all the Simpsons Characters, but my son spent several years playing saxophone with the school band, and Bleeding Gums is sax-playing Lisa Simpson's hero.
   There is a scene where he appears to Lisa in the clouds, and I have done an acrylic painting on canvas of my interpretation of that fabulous scene. I have photographed it, but am severely computertarded, and depend entirely on my daughter to load pictures for me. So, once I wave the $2 in her face and get her to load them,(she is very money motivated and a shrewd businesswoman who can squeeze a nickel til the Buffalo poops) the picture of it will be up, and it will go into my online store for sale.
   Also, watch for more Egyptian painted rocks. I have a fixation on the Eye Of Horus, and absolutely love to paint it. It is said to ward off evil...and yesterday I painted one on a "holey stone", which is supposed to have healing powers. So, combining the two could be pretty powerful!
   Today in Buffalo, it will get close to 60 degrees...very tempting to go into the creek. But the water is high, and I still have to wait. The waiting is killing me. Today Trout Season begins, too. So I hope all the fishermen and women are careful in the streams. Those hip boots can be dangerous if you get in too deep. I guess the fishermen and the rock hunters are quite similar. Just itching to get out there and hear the stream and the birds, and smell the mud and see all the signs of spring. Peace, Lin     http://www.lanrocks.biz
